Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer

We’re on the lookout for a hands-on Data Engineer to take ownership of a Microsoft Fabric + OneLake data platform and turn fragmented, unreliable source data into trusted, governed, analytics-ready datasets .

This is a delivery-critical role for someone who enjoys stabilising messy data environments , getting to root cause fast, and building resilient, production-grade pipelines that can withstand frequent upstream change.

What you’ll be doing:

• Building and optimising transformations using Advanced SQL plus M-Query / Power Query
• Designing scalable semantic models to enable governed self-service analytics
• Setting up data quality controls (validations, reconciliations, checks) across all layers
• Creating monitoring / alerting / logging to detect issues early and reduce manual fixes
