Responsibilities

  1. Data Integration and Pipelines: Build and optimize scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric Dataflows and Notebooks. Integrate data from diverse sources, including on-premises databases, cloud platforms, APIs, and real-time streams.
  2. Data Modeling and Warehousing: Design, develop, and maintain data models within Microsoft Fabric to support advanced analytics and business intelligence initiatives. Implement dimensional models and star schemas for efficient querying and reporting.
  3. Analytics and Visualization Development: Create interactive and intuitive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Fabric's integrated Power BI capabilities. Apply data visualization best practices to present complex data insights clearly and effectively.
  4. Performance Optimization: Write and optimize DAX queries and calculations for high-performance analytics. Ensure data pipeline and report performance meets enterprise standards.
  5. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with business teams to understand data requirements and provide technical solutions aligned with organizational goals. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to enable machine learning workflows and predictive analytics within the Fabric ecosystem.
  6. Governance and Security: Implement and enforce data governance policies, ensuring data quality, consistency, and compliance with regulatory standards. Manage access controls and security measures to safeguard sensitive data.
  7. Innovation and Continuous Learning: Stay updated on advancements in Microsoft Fabric and related technologies to leverage the latest features and best practices. Provide training and documentation to enable efficient usage of Fabric tools among team members.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Computer Science, Technology, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a developer in Microsoft Power BI or the broader Microsoft ecosystem, with hands-on exposure to Microsoft Fabric.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and DAX.
  • Proficiency with Azure services, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, and Power Automate.
  • Familiarity with real-time analytics and big data tools, such as Apache Spark within the Fabric ecosystem.
  • Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
  • Expertise in SQL and data warehousing concepts.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Microsoft certifications in Fabric, Power BI, or Azure technologies are advantageous.
