Mid-level Flora Expert

ERM is looking for a Mid-level Flora Consultant in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre or Salvador.

Key Responsibilities:

·Conduct field surveys for plant species identification, vegetation mapping, habitat classification, and forest inventory. Preparing technical reports and compensation measures for vegetation suppression authorization;

·Support the development of flora baselines and contribute to critical habitat and ecosystem assessments.

·Assist in the preparation of Biodiversity Action Plans (BAPs), ecological restoration strategies, and biodiversity monitoring programs.

·Analyze flora-related data using GIS tools and biodiversity databases.

·Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, including Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) documentation and regulatory compliance materials.
