Job Overview:
We're looking for a designer developer hybrid: a multidisciplinary UI/UX Designer who not only creates intuitive, high-quality interfaces but also understands how those interfaces come to life in code. You should be comfortable thinking in components, anticipating engineering constraints, and partnering closely with developers to bring clarity, feasibility, and high execution quality into the product. A key part of this role involves reviewing NPS feedback, identifying user pain points, and collaborating with Clinical and Member Experience teams to craft solutions that elevate the member journey.

Key Responsibilities:
User Experience
- Conduct user research through interviews, usability tests, surveys, and observational studies.
- Review and interpret NPS feedback to uncover user frustrations and opportunities.
- Translate insights into wireframes, flows, prototypes, and UX concepts.
- Collaborate with the Member Experience (MemXP) team to address interface issues surfaced through member interactions.
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and clinicians to design solutions aligned with user needs and operational realities.
- Design intuitive, polished UI for mobile and web.
- Build and evolve design systems with scalable, consistent components.
- Provide clear specs and assets that support accurate engineering implementation.
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure design feasibility and fidelity.
- Think in components and understand how designs translate into front-end systems.
- Participate in implementation discussions and prototype interactions using HTML/CSS/JS when useful.
- Contribute to internal tools, component documentation, and lightweight front-end experiments.
- Bridge the gap between creative vision and technical execution.
- Partner with Clinical to ensure interfaces support accurate, safe, and efficient care delivery.
- Work with MemXP to craft solutions grounded in real-world feedback and member behavior.
- Contribute to efforts that support a high NPS score and exceptional member experience.
- Create micro-interactions, transitions, and UI animations.
- Produce Lottie animations and motion assets that enhance clarity and delight.
- Produce marketing collateral, presentations, posters, and occasional print materials.
- Optional but valuable: help with photography, videography, and light media editing when needed.
- Support creative projects requiring basic video editing, sound editing, or content capture.

Coding Knowledge
- Strong proficiency in HTML & CSS.
- Familiarity with JavaScript (bonus and highly valued).
- Understanding of component-based UI frameworks and design-to-code thinking.
- Ability to prototype interactions in code is a major plus
- 7+ years of UI/UX design experience, ideally across multiple disciplines.
- Preference for candidates with startup experience or fast-paced product environments.
- Demonstrated experience owning design from research through implementation.
- A portfolio demonstrating UX, UI, motion, and applied technical thinking.
