A fast-growing, venture-backed fintech is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to help build and scale a secure, high-performance platform powering payments and bank data access for global technology and financial services companies.

This is a high-impact role in a product-driven engineering team, working on distributed systems and API-first services used by leading international clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Building and maintaining scalable, secure backend services and APIs
• Designing and evolving microservices-based architecture in a cloud-native environment
• Collaborating with Product, Support, and Customer teams to turn real-world use cases into reliable platform features
• Debugging and improving distributed systems using tracing and observability tools
• Leading code quality through reviews, documentation, and best practices

What They’re Looking For

• 3-5+ years of backend engineering experience
• Strong Java and Spring Framework background
• Experience with Kubernetes and microservices architectures
• Confident designing and owning RESTful APIs
• Comfortable working in distributed systems and fast-moving environments
• Curious, proactive, and collaborative mindset
