ATSS has a client in Calvert, AL looking for a Mill Manager. B.S. in Engineering or related field, or equivalent working experience
At least 10 years of experience in a management position of a steel, aluminum, or paper mill (Team Manager or higher)
In–depth knowledge and experience with the stages of transitioning a steel slab to a coil; reduction, prep, and coating processes
Basic understanding of heat, mass transfer, and material plasticity
Experience managing a maintenance team and/or working in a maintenance role
Experience applying lean manufacturing methodologies to troubleshoot and solve problems (RCFA, Six Sigma, etc.)
