Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Conduct minor building repairs (plumbing, electrical, painting).
  • Perform preventive maintenance and assist with outage planning.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as required.
  • Install and set up manufacturing equipment.
  • Lead project planning for new equipment installations or major repairs.
  • Operate hand and power tools, ladders, cranes, and high lifts.
  • Communicate with supervisors and production teams about equipment status and repairs.
  • Maintain records and documentation using Microsoft Office/CMMS.
  • Manage inventory by checking stock levels, placing orders, and verifying receipts.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Must have a minimum of five years of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting at a Journeyman level in Industrial Plant Maintenance; five to seven years preferred.
  • Must be familiar with state licensing requirements for Millwright and Electrical work; holding a Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) card and Journeyman Millwright card preferred.
  • Knowledge of PLCs and basic electrical concepts.
  • Experience in project planning, implementation, and oversight, as well as developing, implementing, and managing PM programs.
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, troubleshoot and repair equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Proficiency with power and hand tools, welding, forklift, and heavy equipment operation.
  • Good physical condition, ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, stand and work for extended periods, climb ladders, and work at high elevations and in confined spaces.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS software.
