Mine Engineer

Overview

The Mine Engineer role at Hancock Iron Ore is based at the Sanjiv Ridge Mine on an 8/6 days FIFO roster from Perth. Reporting to the Superintendent Mine Engineering , you will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of robust Daily and Weekly Mine Plans as well as Drill & Blast designs across multiple operations. This opportunity is to join a small team of Mine Engineers that oversee multiple Contract Mining sites near Marble Bar in the Pilbara region.

Duties

• Exercise a sufficient level of detail in developing the Daily, Weekly Plans and Short Term Plans (STP) as applicable, which utilise resources efficiently, identifies risk clearly and creates a clear path for a high standard of operational performance and success.
