Mine Maintenance Lead Hand (Welding)

Overview

Reporting to the Mine Maintenance Welding Supervisor, you will be part of the Mobile Maintenance Department. You will be responsible for providing support to the Mobile Maintenance team by being accountable for directing the workforce in daily maintenance and or repair for all mining and mobile equipment, while ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory procedures. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to read and interpret inside and outside micrometer readings and have a good understanding of measurement techniques, reading of drawings and tolerances as required;
• Operate manual or semi-automatic flame cutting, brazing, and soldering equipment;
