About the Role Black Panda is hiring a Mobile Engineer to work on a new internal build currently in stealth mode .
This role is for engineers who enjoy building thoughtful, stable, well-considered mobile experiences — not dopamine-driven interfaces or growth hacks. You’ll be part of a small, senior team building a mobile-first product from the ground up.
We value restraint, clarity, and correctness over speed or theatrics.
What You’ll Do Build and maintain core mobile application features
Translate product requirements into clean, intuitive mobile flows
Ensure high performance, reliability, and accessibility
Work closely with backend and product teams on API contracts and data flows
Handle edge cases, offline scenarios, and error states gracefully
Participate in code reviews and design discussions
Own features end-to-end with accountability for quality
