Grange Resources Tasmania is on the lookout for a Mobile maintenance Diesel fitter A Shift to join our operation in Savage River.

Based out of the Pit Mobile Equipment workshop, this position will include repairs to the Mobile Mining Fleet, including Caterpillar haul trucks, Graders, D10T Dozers, Hitachi Excavators/Shovels and Sandvik/Atlas Copco drill rigs, including breakdown maintenance.

Day to day

  • Fault finding - inspection, identifying, and diagnosis of mechanical malfunctions
  • Carrying out minor and major repairs on the Mobile mining equipment at Savage River

Who you are

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Air-conditioning licence
  • Current high-risk licences- Forklift, EWP, Dogman, Crane ticket
  • Current full manual driver's licence
