Job Title: Modeling and Simulation Engineer

Job Summary
The intern will assist the R&D team in simulation projects relating to Design For Additive Manufacturing and optimization

Reports to: Virtual Engineering Manager
 

Key Responsibilities

• Work on projects relating to product optimization under the supervision of Engineering team

• Perform Finite element analysis and or Fluid flow analysis as required

• Validate simulation results with experimental data

• Interact with product development teams on design requirements and challenges

• Discuss, propose, and present solutions to the engineering team

Requisite Criteria & Skills

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's/Master's degree /Phd degree in Mechanical/Aerospace engineering

• Good understanding of Heat transfer, Fluid dynamics and Mechanical design

• Excellent skills in CAD [Solidworks, Creo, Spaceclaim, Rhino 3D]

• Experience with FEM, CFD using Ansys/Abaqus/ Comsol or similar programs and or topology optimization

• Knowledge of Computational design, Machine learning, Additive manufacturing and coding (Python, C++ etc) will be an advantage

• Good attitude towards work and a passion for simulation driven design
