Senvion is seeking a talent professional with 6+ years of experience in performing Modelling and Simulation of the Electrical Dive train.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for sub system model studies of Wind turbine in MATLAB/Sim power system along with suppliers for respective electrical components,
- Understanding and design of Electrical Drive train system components for wind turbines.
- Modelling and simulation of components (generator & converter) and system in MATLAB sim power system environment. The simulated results need to be validated with Physical testing in lab and field.
- Supporting the team on preparing requirement specification for wind converter-based simulation results.
- Analysis, simulation and test of higher-frequency behaviour in power electronic converters (full and partial range).
- Evaluation of grid connection requirements test results for compliance with various national grid codes (for example India, Saudi Arabia and Germany, etc.)
- Inspection of Supplier facilities to witness electrical components tests.
Key Task
- Preparation of Complete Electrical drive train model in MATLAB/Sim power system for 2XM, 3XM and 6XM platform in EMT and DLL formats.
- Review of Component data sheets and find the operating range of EDT component in term of static and Dynamic behaviors (LVRT & HVRT).
- Works closely with Converter modelling supplier team to verify the control functions in converter as per the Wind turbine specification.
- Responsible for cost-out activities in own area.
- Support and development of innovative ideas out of the team and other sources.
- Ensure process adherence to organization development process.
- Connect and establish collaboration with different functions like production, logistics, installation and services.
