Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for supporting the sales team in creating quotations, renders, executing orders and ensuring quality and time compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Quotation
- Prepare modular kitchen and wardrobe designs based on CAD drawings and client selections.
- Create detailed quotations as per approved designs and apply markups as instructed by the sales team.
- Verify quotations using the prescribed checklist and obtain approval from the immediate supervisor.
- Create 3 D renders when required to support sales presentations and client approvals.
Site Survey & Validation
- Conduct site surveys after order confirmation to take initial measurements and validate site conditions.
- Ensure site surveys are completed as per the defined checklist.
- Identify and flag major deviations in sizes, layout, or specifications and revise designs and quotations accordingly.
Client Coordination & Documentation
- Communicate final sizes, finishes, hardware, and material specifications to clients.
- Obtain written confirmation from clients on all selections, specifications, and changes.
- Ensure all verbal discussions or changes are documented, approved, and recorded.
Order Processing & Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with the accounts department to confirm receipt of payments as per the agreed payment schedule before order placement.
- Place orders with vendors based on approved designs and quotations.
- Verify order accuracy jointly with the immediate supervisor before final submission.
- Ensure vendor delivery timelines align with commitments made to the client.
Order Tracking & Escalation
- Track production progress with vendors at least twice a week.
- Monitor timelines, specifications, and quality commitments.
- Escalate delays, discrepancies, or risks promptly to the immediate supervisor.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of modular kitchen and wardrobe systems
- Proficiency in design software (Auto CAD, Sketch Up, 3 Ds Max or equivalent)
- Attention to detail and high accuracy in measurements and BOQs
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders
- Problem-solving mindset and proactive escalation
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma / Degree in Interior Design, Furniture Design, or related field
- 2–3 years of experience in modular furniture design preferred (kitchens/wardrobes)
- Experience working with vendors and production teams is an advantage
