About This Role:

The Mold Maintenance Technician I maintains and prepares all mold, fixtures, and spare components.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Disassembles, cleans, and reassembles all molds in a proficient, safe, and methodical manner.

  • Performs “in-run” mold maintenance tasks such as cleaning and lubricating of molds and components.

  • Monitors in-coming molds from Mold Room. Logs in, drains water and applies mold protectant.

  • Properly communicates with co-workers and other department leaders on mold related issues and mold status.

  • Keeps accurate, legible documentation and follows prescribed methods and procedures to complete all work.

  • Maintains Mold Maintenance supplies and shop cleanliness.
