Mold Tool Engineer

Job Summary

The position of Mold Tooling Specialist oversees the development of thermoplastic injection tooling with external custom molders and internal tooling. This role is responsible for ensuring that all injection tooling is operating within its validation state.

A key part of this role is securing thermoplastic injection tool equipment with vendors, both internally and externally, by keeping records up to date. Maintaining optimal performance requires overseeing external and internal vendors to ensure proper maintenance and establishing minimum-maximum spare components are established and properly stocked.
Responsibilities:

• Bid management : Prepare Request for Quotation (RFQ) documents outlining scope of work with suppliers
  
• Evaluate bids from various suppliers according to production requirements
