Job Description
Must-Have:
- Experience with community edition and Enterprise edition
- Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish
- Installation of MongoDB software
- Manual creation and upgrade of replica sets
- Creation and upgrade of replica sets using OPS Manager
- Backups and restores using mongodump and mongorestore
- Backups and restores via OPS Manager
- Shard creation and upgrade
- Day-to-day troubleshooting in MongoDB
- Performance tuning
- Migration of MongoDB databases
Additional responsibilities include:
- Database upgrade, migration, and cloning
- Performance tuning of databases
- Database migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of database objects, such as fixed DB packages
- Implementation of database patches on servers
- Database server configuration and verification
