The Mortgage Repurchase Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of mortgage loan repurchase and indemnification requests from investors, guarantors, and regulatory agencies. This role ensures accurate research, documentation, and resolution of repurchase demands while minimizing financial risk and protecting company assets. The specialist will collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to investigate claims, respond to requests, and manage timelines for resolution.
Key Responsibilities
Review, analyze, and respond to repurchase and indemnification demands in accordance with agency, investor, and company guidelines.
Investigate loan-level documentation, underwriting, closing, and servicing files to determine if a repurchase is necessary.
