About the Role
We are looking for a creative and technically strong Motion Graphics Designer / Engineer to produce engaging 2 D animated videos for e-learning modules, product explainers, and brand content. You will work closely with instructional designers, script writers, and voice-over teams to bring learning stories to life using Adobe After Effects and similar tools.
Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 2 D motion graphics and animations for e-learning and explainer videos.
- Animate storyboards, characters, icons, infographics, UI flows, and transitions in After Effects.
- Sync animations with voice-over, background music, and sound effects.
- Develop reusable animation templates and motion libraries for scalable production.
- Ensure visual consistency, timing, and brand guidelines across all videos.
- Create and edit motion graphics using software tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
- Ensure all motion graphics and animations meet Skillzcafe's quality standards and align with the brand's visual style.
- Optimize files for LMS, web, and mobile delivery.
- Collaborate with graphic designers, instructional designers, and video editors.
- Manage multiple animation projects with tight timelines.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in 2 D motion graphics / animation.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects (mandatory).
- Good working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Understanding of animation principles (timing, easing, composition, visual hierarchy).
- Experience creating explainer videos, educational videos, or UI animations.
- Basic knowledge of audio sync and video rendering formats.
- Experience in digital filmmaking and video editing.
Good to Have
- Experience with character rigging and animation (Duik, Joysticks & Sliders, etc.).
- Familiarity with Lottie, Premiere Pro, or simple 3 D integration.
- Experience working in an e-learning or ed-tech environment.
