Motor Engineer

Job Responsibilities

· Responsible for the design and analysis of the controls of electronic power steering systems using dynamic system modeling and simulation

· Tunes vehicle steering characteristics, diagnoses and corrects deficiencies in designs and prototypes looking into Stability

· Completes validation of motor and motor control requirements

· Develop and Own motor systems component calibrations

· Able to perform requirements flow down. Communicate with OEM‘s to get clarifications of customer requirements related to motor systems and work closely with customers for technical discussions during development of EPS systems.

· Effectively integrates all aspects of motor system design through the use of multi-disciplinary engineering

· Uses rapid prototyping tools for motor systems development
