MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR (FORK LIFT OPERATOR)

The primary purpose of this position is to operate one or more types of gasoline, diesel, or electric powered wheeled vehicles typically having a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of more than 32,000 pounds. Drives over public roads (or equivalent) in a full range of traffic conditions and at highway speeds to transport cargo. Also operates forklifts to facilitate cargo loading. Responsibilities - Drives tractor trailers and/or other vehicles typically having a GVW of more than 32,000 pounds. Operates vehicles to transport supplies, materials, equipment, and/or tools. - Operates one or more electric, LPG, or diesel powered fork lift trucks to facilitate loading and unloading duties.
