Job Description

Job Description :

Design and lead cutting-edge MR system architectures and subsystems-whether ASIC, RF, or digital modules-from concept through full product release. Serve as a technical authority, interfacing with cross-functional teams (ASIC, hardware, firmware, software, manufacturing) to deploy high-performance, reliable MR solutions.

Lead full lifecycle development of MR-specific hardware components:

• Architect mixed-signal ASICs (RF ADC/DACs, demodulation blocks, digital filters) and RF subsystems.

• Oversee system architecture, integration, and roadmap definition for MR modules-driving IP creation and competitive differentiation.

 Provide guidance on FPGA-to-ASIC transitions, and hardware verification (UVM or equivalent).

 Define, document, and uphold functional specifications; establish test and verification plans to ensure coverage and debug readiness.

 Mentor and oversee module teams through prototyping, integration, quality investigations, and full product introduction phases.

 Model and simulate MR subsystems, lead prototype testing, and evaluate performance against stringent MR requirements.

 Collaborate with firmware and software groups to define communication protocols, driver interfaces, and system control strategies.

 Maintain up-to-date technical expertise in MR technologies (ASIC, RF, mixed-signal, digital), identifying opportunities for innovation and strategic sourcing.

 Champion quality across lifecycle, managing technical risk, investigating field issues, and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

• Minimum 15 years' relevant experience in:

o Mixed-signal ASIC design within MR systems OR

o RF subsystem architecture in MR context.

• Proficient with ASIC design tools (Cadence, Synopsys), RF design/simulation platforms (e.g., ADS), and RTL languages (SystemVerilog, VHDL).

• Strong DSL in hardware verification (UVM or equivalent).

• Demonstrated success leading technical teams and delivering complex MR-enabled modules or systems.

• Intimate familiarity with MR physics and system-level architecture.

• Excellent documentation, presentation, and cross-functional communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Prior contributions to MR product IP and patents.

• Experience planning MR subsystem roadmaps, strategic technology scouting, and vendor integration.

• Understanding of MR regulatory standards and medical device qualification processes.
