  • Collaborate with Design Authorities to assess part repair requirements or usage parameters.

  • Conduct assessments related to engineering principles such as tolerance stacks, GD&T interpretation, interchangeability, and repair requirements.

  • Must obtain and maintain “Certified MRE” status through customer-provided certification. Certification training will be provided by Quest Global.

  • Mentor, train, and provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers.

  • Education: BSME/BSAE degree.

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in gas turbine design (aero-engine preferred) with partial MRE certification.
15+ years of experience for full MRE certification, allowing the engineer to perform tasks across multiple engine components.

  • In-depth experience with MRB (Material Review Board) processes and non-conformance management in government-regulated industries (Aerospace & Defense, Medical, Mass Transit).

  • Experience interacting with ERP/MRP systems (, SAP, Oracle) for managing and storing NC data.

  • Expertise in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, with strong knowledge of GD&T and modern manufacturing processes (metal, composites).

  • Proven experience in quality assurance processes, including part qualification, non-conforming material disposition, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Desired Skills:

  • A service-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and in teams.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting technical data to customers and regulatory representatives.

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

  • Experience with developing and mentoring junior engineers is highly valued.
  • Work Environment:

  • Office and/or shop floor environments with periodic physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 lbs.

  • Frequent use of a computer for technical work, reviewing documents, and managing data.

  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.

  • Ability to travel and work on-site at customer locations as required.
  • Citizenship Requirement:
Due to the nature of the work, citizenship is required.

If you are an experienced engineer with a passion for aerospace, a strong understanding of gas turbine design, and the skills to mentor others while ensuring top-tier product quality, we encourage you to apply.
