An opportunity is available for an experienced MRI Technologist to provide high-quality imaging services within an inpatient and outpatient setting. This contract role is located in Concord, NC, offering a dynamic environment where advanced imaging technology plays a central role in patient diagnosis and care. Responsibilities include performing MRI exams from start to finish, verifying orders and patient identification, preparing patients by explaining procedures thoroughly, and administering IV contrast as per protocols. The role demands evaluating image quality and consulting radiologists as needed, supporting invasive procedures safely, and adhering to strict radiation safety and infection control standards. Candidates will also operate radiology systems for order entry and documentation, collaborate with anesthesia and nursing staff, and maintain comprehensive knowledge of MRI safety practices. Desired qualifications include: Certification by ARRT (R) or NMTCB, ARRT (MR), or ARMRI Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Minimum of 1 year MRI technologist experience; first-time travelers are welcome Ability to conduct thorough patient history reviews and work in a fast-paced environment serving emergency, inpatient, and outpatient populations Competency with EMR and imaging systems, preferably Epic Radiant and Philips iSite Schedule & Work Environment : Contract position with no on-call responsibilities Work approximately 75% of observed holidays Orientation includes administrative and departmental training Location Overview : Situated near Concord, NC, this role benefits from proximity to urban amenities and a moderate cost of living.
