Summary:
The MRI Technologist performs all magnetic resonance procedures to produce cross-sectional images of patient's body for diagnostic purposes according to protocol and age specific needs.
Responsibilities:
Performs all magnetic resonance procedures to produce cross-sectional images of patient's body for diagnostic purposes according to protocol and age specific needs. Performs all tasks involved in MRI screening and safety for MRI patients, families, and others that are required to enter the MRI environment. Follows all QA/QC guidelines for all equipment. Administers contrast materials and prepares and operates the MRI scanner equipment and ancillary equipment. Performs clerical duties in RIS, PACS, and hospital computer systems are associated with this position. Rotates call to provide coverage on weekends and holidays and after 9pm during t...
