Summary
POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for performing MRI exams generating quality images for diagnostic purposes. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Patient Care/Imaging: Escorts patient to and from exam and imaging rooms Prepares patients for imaging procedures to include complete screening process with patient safety in mind. Takes images following established procedures for patient care and safety to include scanning all required anatomy and correct technical factors for highest quality images. Reviews images, makes quality adjustments and makes images available to physician for review on computer system Communicates concerns about imaging results to Radiologists so that further diagnostic decisions can be made Prepares and administers contrast materials when indicated and instructs patients accordingly Equipment Maintenance and Safety: Ensures equipment is in working order and completes/maintains maintenance records as re...
