Role Summary
The MRO Lead/Supervisor coordinates the MRO Inventory team to maintain accurate stock levels, manage cycle counts, repairs, returns and receiving. The position includes day shift on Tuesdays through Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Direct and manage MRO stockkeepers and receivers; manage schedules, priorities, assign tasks, monitor performance, administer training.
- Demonstrate and promote company core values through people skills, quality, and growth.
- Maintain inventory levels, verify accuracy of receiving, issuing, put‑away; review min/max levels and propose changes; establish cycle count schedules.
- Manage vendor repairs, monitor major parts, obtain quotes, follow purchase orders, verify specifications.
- Support MRO Inventory manager with bulk inventory adjustments, service receipt, issuing corrections, item numbering, cost queries.
- Assist with department duties: parts counter, trailer loading/unloading, parts reception, backup to all other positions.
- Coordinate rush orders with Purchasing and answer queries.
- Perform daily Inventory Housekeeping Inspections per HACCP and BRC requirements.
- Establish goals, priorities, manage activities of subordinates.
- Develop team capabilities through ongoing training, coaching.
- Recommend, develop, and implement enhancements to departmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Ability to operate a forklift and stacker (training available).
- 3–5 years in an MRO role with direct reports.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical parts.
- Knowledge of FIFO, 5S concepts.
- Working knowledge of HACCP & BRC.
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced operation.
- General computer skills.
