JOB DESCRIPTION Confirms patient's identity, body part and body side for every patient prior to the imaging procedure. Demonstrates a working knowledge of radiology equipment and procedures and engages in producing quality radiographic exams. If needed, reviews exams with the radiologists as to important anatomic detail and areas of abnormalities.

The Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist provides clinical services according to radiology practice standards to ensure optimal departmental functions. Demonstrates and implements skills and knowledge in using all radiographic and/or CT/MR equipment, following all related protocols and procedures. Engages in producing high quality imaging exams/images within the appropriate length of time for required radiologic procedure. Maintains compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
