Multi-Skilled Engineer

Overview

The Multi-Skilled Engineer involves installing, maintaining, and repairing various conveyor systems, including both mechanical and electrical components. This role requires troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of conveyor equipment. The technician also needs to be proficient in diagnosing and resolving issues, as well as documenting maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Installation and Setup: Installing, aligning, and testing new conveyor systems according to specifications, manuals, and schematics.


• Preventative Maintenance: Performing routine inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and replacements of conveyor components like belts, chains, and motors.


• Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues within conveyor systems, including motors, gears, switches, experience working with pneumati...
