Multi-Skilled Engineer

We are looking for a dedicated Multi‑Skilled Engineer to join a growing team within the manufacturing industry. This role in Essex requires technical expertise and a proactive approach to ensure smooth operations and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Review production schedule and when equipment is not scheduled for manufacturing, perform preventative maintenance and tests.
• Carry out preventative maintenance checks and inspections, report findings to Engineering Manager and take appropriate action.
• Analyse mechanical/electrical and operational problems on equipment and plan for and take corrective action.
• Make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
• Test equipment, clear jams, try out equipment after repairs, changeovers or extended downtime.
