About the Job

Multimedia Journalist/Editor will be a part of Glomex subdivision of Phaistos Networks, a dynamic team driving the growth of innovative B2B Video media platform in Greece, aiming to provide premium content and advertising placements to an extended network of Publishers. 

In this role, he/she will work autonomously to transform news/entertainment video content sources into engaging video clips with a journalistic point of view.

Responsibilities include creating high-quality content independently and enhancing it with titles, descriptions, tags, and other elements to maximize its impact across various platforms.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Independently source content from various broadcasts and content owners.
• Edit and enhance multimedia content, including videos, podcasts, and graphics with engaging titles, compelling descriptions, and relevant tags, ensuring that all content is engaging and visually appealing.
• Identify the most remarkable and worth spreading video shorts/clippings in entertainment, news, lifestyle and sports categories. 
• Add visual elements, transitions, graphics, and effects to enhance the overall quality of videos.
• Develop creative and concepts for video projects maximum audience engagement
• Conduct quality checks on multimedia content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Participate in a rotating shift schedule covering 18 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain consistency in storytelling and adhere to content guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Multimedia Editor for at least 2 years.
• Experience in video editing software (i.e. Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects).
• Strong creative and storytelling skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
