Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Murex Front Office (FO) Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, and ongoing enhancement of Murex FO modules. The role involves close collaboration with traders, structuring, risk, and technology teams to ensure accurate trade capture, pricing, and lifecycle management across asset classes.
Experience Level : 7-10 yrs.
Location : Mumbai.
Educational Qualifications : BE / BTech, BCA, MCA OR CA
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support Murex Front Office modules for trade capture, pricing, and lifecycle events.
- Work with traders and FO users to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
- Configure products, market data, curves, pricing models, and FO workflows.
- Support end-to-end trade lifecycle from booking to downstream processing.
- Perform analysis, testing (UAT), and issue resolution related to FO functionalities.
- Coordinate with BO/MO, Risk, and IT teams for integrations and releases.
- Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, and user guides.
- Support go-live activities and provide post-implementation support.
Required Skills and Experience
- Hands-on experience in Murex Front Office modules.
- Strong understanding of financial products: FX, MM, IR, Credit, Equities, and Derivatives.
- Experience with trade capture, pricing, and FO workflows in Murex.
- Knowledge of market data setup, curves, volatility surfaces, and pricing configurations.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Good understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and release management.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
