Role : Murex Front Office Lead Technical Consultant

Experience Level: 10+ years in Murex Front Office configuration

Location : Bangalore (work from office)



Mandate SKill :


- 10+ years of experience in Murex system in Front office of Mx 3.1 platform


- Pre trade or e trade pad configuration experience is mandatory


- Proven experience of working on scalable, resilient transaction processing systems in the Financial markets


- A strong analytical and logical approach to problem solving and system development.


- Very strong exposure to all the asset class


- Strong exposure of trade lifecycle across front office, back office and middle office tiers;


- Detailed knowledge of Murex Front office module


- Responsible for doing Requirement Analysis in Front Office space for various asset classes


- Responsible for doing an initial analysis of existing production data and existing test cases suite


- Ability to analyse and understand product requirements and offer solutions and support to facilitate the rollouts.


- Work closely with Front Office business to design and build pricing and booking capabilities in Murex system.


- Participate with internal business partners on cross functional projects to provide STP solutions for pricing, distribution and execution capabilities.


- Be responsible for understanding the business needs, identifying business solutions and validating the pros and cons of technical solution options


- Murex upgrade related report development & reconciliation experience.



Responsibilities


- Key liaison with Front Office user base and working with traders/end users during Migration go live and post go live support


- Perform reconciliation between Mx.2 Vs Mx.3.1 systems


- Performing P&L, cash flow analysis


- Perform e-tradepad, simulation configuration, and support in BAU trading activities post Mx.3 system implementation


- Train the traders/end users on Mx.3 FO functionality


- Resolve daily FO issues on both functional, valuation, and pricing


- Liaise with the technical team(s) to resolve FO related issues and necessary enhancements


- Develop FO Business requirements per given stream and according to Project needs as they come along


- Products (IRD, CRD, EQD, FXD) management and validation


- Manage day to day assigned project tasks to complete various FO deliverables


- Contribute and assist existing support group(s) in resolving requests or issues with P&L, Market Data, and booking issues


- Analyze formulate, propose, develop and/or contribute to overall solutions as per project deliverables


- Ability to utilize specialized knowledge on financial derivatives and Murex software to participate in implementation and upgrade projects throughout scoping, design, build and validation phases.


- Provide high quality support in using the Murex platform for pricing and structuring of complex financial products within trading domain (e.G. FX derivatives, interest rates derivatives, Fixed Income etc).


- Develop test cases to troubleshoot the system, document defective use cases for fixes by developers.
