Music Composer

Overview

A unique opportunity is available for a skilled music composer and pianist to craft an original theme for a student animation project. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating a 2 to 2:30 minute piece that captures a soft, dreamy, and slightly magical atmosphere. The music should evoke warmth, nostalgia, and a sense of gentle wonder, reminiscent of a storybook daydream. The main melody will be piano-driven—simple, expressive, and warm—supported by gentle string pads for emotional depth. Chime or bell accents should add a touch of sparkle, while subtle ambient textures like soft wind or distant water enhance the overall mood. The composition must remain cohesive, natural, and easy to listen to, with smooth transitions and no heavy build-ups, percussion, or harsh synthetic elements. References and a demo WAV will be provided to guide the creative direction, with inspiration drawn from Studio Ghibli-style music.
