Overview
**This position is physically located in the Marshall Islands in support of LOGCAP**
Under general supervision, the MWR Technician - Referee & Scorekeeper has a good understanding of sports scoring. Familiar with the rules of the sport they are working. Ability to multi task; scoring and/ or run the clock as needed. Have attention to details; time, play, score, etc. Ability to focus; accurately record a game's score. Each time a team scores one or more points, the scorekeeper must post the updated score on the scoreboard. If a referee disqualifies a goal or imposes a point penalty, the scorekeeper/ timekeeper must adjust the team scores in accordance with the official's decision. A scorekeeper might also be responsible for keeping time by starting and stopping the clock according to the rules of the game.
