We are hiring an experienced Senior My SQL DBA to manage and optimize our database environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in database administration, performance tuning, backups, and replication.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain My SQL databases across production and development environments.
Perform regular backups, restorations , and ensure reliable disaster recovery processes.
Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot My SQL replication setups.
Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and configuration upgrades.
Ensure database security, health monitoring, and capacity planning.
Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to support releases and resolve DB issues.
Skills Required
Primary Skills
My SQL DBA (installation, configuration, tuning)
Database backup & recovery
Replication (Master–Slave, GTID, etc.)
Performance optimization & troubleshooting
Secondary (Good to Have)
Experience with Azure Cloud
Scripting knowledge (Shell/Python)

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
