<div><b>NAD Application Developer</b></div> <div><b>Location: Bengalore</b></div> <div><b>Exp: 3+Yrs</b></div> <div> </div> <div> <p>Linux - NAD Application Developer (Linux) in embedded domain, preferably in Automotive Linux domain.</p> <p>A Linux middleware and application developer is responsible for the development of Linux middleware integration with Driver layer. Also should take ownership of Application development. The candidate should have expertise in Embedded design, Linux middleware development, and preferably experience working on Automotive projects. Candidate is able to contribute to estimations and design activities. Candidate should be comfortable working in a distributed team environment. Supervisory Responsibilities Does not have any direct reports.</p> <p><br /> <b>What You Will Do</b></p> <ul> <li>You will be the MODULE owner one or two middleware/application modules for Telematics project.</li> <li>Should have full knowledge on Linux software development.</li> <li>You will use Agile Scrum Methodology for software development.</li> <li>You should take functional ownership of a set of software modules Analyzes and develop code to satisfy a software requirement.</li> <li>Evaluates CRS and creates SRS documents for software architecture Adequately </li> <li>You will review and comment the code commits made by team members.</li> </ul> <p><b>What You Need</b></p> <ul> <li>Good knowledge in Linux embedded system.</li> <li>Good knowledge of working with Open source software packages.</li> <li>Hands on knowledge on Linux USB stack - Host and gadget including OTG, Display Bringup</li> <li>Hands on knowledge of all / any of the following Linux kernel areas: Power Management, Network, BSP (ARM).</li> <li>Programming Language: Strong in C/C++, basic shell scripting</li> <li>Tools: Development and Debugging using Host - Target tool chains for embedded platforms</li> <li>Positive attitude towards work (Dynamic)</li> <li>Good English skills (writing, documenting, conversation)</li> <li>Expertise in embedded system programming either in Linux</li> <li>Hands on experience in multi-threaded programming.</li> <li>Proven experience in debugging and root causing embedded system issues like kernel random crash.</li> <li>Good exposure on board bring-up, boot loaders, device driver porting.</li> <li>Good exposure on serial protocols, storage devices, network protocols.</li> </ul> <p><b>What is Nice to Have</b></p> <ul> <li>Understanding of automotive protocol like CAN, J1939, SPI etc.</li> <li>Work experience with Agile methodology.</li> </ul> </div>
