Reporting Lines

Under the overall managerial administrative leadership of the FAO Representative in Indonesia, the general supervision of the FAO UN-REDD Programme Coordinator, and the direct supervision of the National Forest Monitoring Project Coordinator, the National Project Specialist will have the following key functions:
1. Support coordination between FAO, Directorate General of Forestry Planning/IPSDH and other agencies and partners in the project for effective delivery of project results and outputs and the achievement of outcomes
2. Support the implementation of the project approach and all project activities with a view on long term sustainability and institutionalization of the National Forest Monitoring System
3. Monitoring and reporting on progress of project implementation
4. Provide logistical and operational support for meetings, workshops, and field activities.
