POSITION DESCRIPTION:

As a collaborative member of the student recruitment team, the National Recruiter serves as LeTourneau University’s primary point of contact and key relationship builder for all target markets to drive lead generation and enrollment pipelines. As a key member of the Office of Enrollment, Marketing and Communications (EMC), the National Recruiter contributes to a results-driven, collaborative, and mission-oriented team culture. They are accountable to consistently scale marketplace presence, develop strategic organization partnerships, engage and cultivate sustained enrollment growth pipelines, and intentionally build key relationships, both regionally and nationally. The National Recruiter will serve as a champion for the LeTourneau University brand promise: the sole, national choice for a distinctly Christian, polytechnic learning environment, with the leading return on investment among Christian universities nationwide. 

Responsibilities:

  • Execute student recruitment strategies that align with LeTourneau University’s mission, brand commitment, and student recruiting objectives.

  • Strategically scale LeTourneau University’s presence within the specified geographic region, in alignment with the priorities and targets of the Office of Enrollment, Marketing and Communications.

  • Utilize data-informed strategies and CRM insights to develop and advance regional and national recruiting targets

  • Actively contribute to a team environment that leverages data and market intelligence to establish and steward informed recruitment decisions.

  • Engage with community partners, churches, high schools, and other external stakeholders in the specified region to drive lead generation

  • Strategically and tactically cultivate the specified regional portfolio and associated relationships, in ways that drive lead identification and progression; specifically driving campus visit and student applications

  • Conduct extensive regional and national travel for portfolio development and student/family/organization engagement.

  • Cultivate relationships with prospective students, families, and key influencers such as high school counselors and church leaders.

  • Engage with and develop your local and regional territory regularly to represent LeTourneau University at events such as college fairs, high school visits, youth ministry gatherings, industry conferences, and other related events.

  • Representation at events beyond assigned territory such as college fairs, high school visits, church gatherings, industry conferences, and related events as part of strategic scaling of university presence.

  • Develop a personal recruitment portfolio based on market and CRM insights related to your region, ensuring targeted and effective outreach.

  • Present LeTourneau University’s academic programs, Christian mission, and student life offerings in a compelling and engaging manner to prospective students and families.

  • Utilize CRM systems to track recruitment activities, monitor progress, and adjust strategies based on data insights.

  • Track and report on leading measures and portfolio insights as part of consistent performance accountability and geographic region management. 

  • Participate in the creation and implementation of communication flows that support prospective student engagement from initial inquiry to enrollment.

  • Advance the development and delivery of recruitment presentations and materials that effectively communicate the University’s value proposition.

  • Advise and collaborate with the Assistant Vice President for Student Recruitment regarding regional recruitment targets and contributions to the overall production of the recruitment team.

  • Provide experiential market insights from recruitment efforts to inform and enhance the University’s marketing and communication strategies and strengthen brand engagement.

  • Foster connections between prospective students and key University staff, faculty, and current students to facilitate personalized experiences.

  • Build strong and collaborative relationships with colleagues on the admissions team; especially those in the corresponding regions and territories.

  • Champion LeTourneau University’s mission and distinct Christian identity in all recruitment activities.

  • Actively participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay informed on best practices in student recruitment and higher education trends.
  • QUALIFICATIONS:

    This position is Remote, applicants should be based in the Southeastern US


    Required:


    Qualified applicants will enthusiastically support and advance the mission of LeTourneau University, bringing proven experience in recruitment, admissions, sales, or related fields. They will demonstrate strong relationship-building skills, effectively connecting with diverse audiences, and possess the ability to travel regionally and nationally as part of their recruitment responsibilities. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential. Candidates should have a collaborative, team-oriented mindset and a bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.


    Preferred:


    Familiarity with CRM systems and data-driven recruitment strategies, remote work experience, and experience in higher education or recruitment.
