As the National Sales Manager – Farm Replacement Sales at Goodyear India, you lead the strategic growth of the farm tire replacement business across the country. You drive rural market penetration, expand dealer networks, and deliver sustainable volume and margin growth in the agricultural tire segment. Your deep market knowledge, strong leadership, and passion for engaging with channel partners and rural customers make you a key force in shaping Goodyear’s success in India’s farm sector.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Sales & Business Development
Define and implement national sales strategies to grow the farm replacement tire business across rural and semi-urban marketsMonitor market dynamics, crop cycles, and government policies to identify new opportunitiesCollaborate with Marketing, Product, and Supply Chain teams to enhance Goodyear’s brand relevance in the farm segmentChannel & Rural Distribution Management
Strengthen and expand the rural dealer network to ensure high availability and visibility of Goodyear farm tiresIdentify, appoint, and nurture high-potential channel partners in untapped territoriesOversee dealer onboarding, training, pricing, credit management, and incentive programsTeam Leadership
Lead a team of Regional Sales Managers, Territory Managers, and Field Executives focused on farm tire salesFoster a high-performance culture through goal setting, accountability, and talent developmentConduct regular market visits, ride-alongs, and channel partner meets to stay close to field realitiesP&L & Operational Management
Own the P&L for the farm replacement business, driving profitability, revenue, and volume growthManage sales forecasting, inventory planning, and logistics coordination with internal teamsEnsure effective use of trade schemes, market development funds, and ROI-focused initiativesCustomer & Farmer Engagement
Support farmer outreach through field demos, training, and agri-eventsBuild long-term trust with end users by promoting Goodyear’s value proposition in farm productivity, tire life, and ROIHandle escalated customer issues and ensure resolution in coordination with customer service and technical teamsWhat You Bring
15+ years of experience, including 5+ years in a senior sales role in farm equipment, agri-inputs, FMCD, or rural automotive salesStrong knowledge of India’s agricultural landscape, rural channel dynamics, and crop-based seasonalityProven experience managing rural distributor/dealer networksAnalytical and data-driven approach to problem-solvingGoodyear is one of the world's largest tire companies.
