Job Description
Inspects materials and products, or components, and finished equipment for conformance to specifications using nondestructive examination methods. Reviews and develops documentation related to non-destructive examination and other quality control.
Functions:
+ Conduct and document Nondestructive Testing operations
+ Develop, review, and approve NDT procedures in accordance with applicable codes and customer requirements
+ Administer and maintain ASNT-TC-1A Qualification of personnel
+ Assure safe usage and handling of radioactive equipment and personnel
+ Monitor critical equipment / instrumentation and maintain necessary NDT records to meet third party certification and/or regulatory requirements.
+ Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action
Preferred: Professional Accreditation / Certification: RSO, ASQ CQI and/or CQT, AWS CWI preferred
