A Snapshot of Your Day

Within the global purchasing organization, you will carry out NDT on components for gas and steam turbines independently and with the help of the supplier. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out inspections in accordance with specifications and for the technical and formal review of the documentation. As a rule, NDT is carried out at suppliers' premises. In case finding deviations from supplier results, you are responsible for describing these clearly in technical terms, communicating them accordingly and clarifying further measures with the cross-departmental team.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in the NDT of cast components and large steel fabrication
  • Education background shall be mechanical engineering, or similar.
  • Certified to ISO9712 or similar in VT, MT, PT and UT to at the least Level II required
  • Profound knowledge in the application of quality methods such as 5 Why, FMEA, 8D, RCA
  • Very good collaboration and communication skills required
  • Confident handling of MS Office applications, SAP
  • Great teammate, precise work, high level of initiative and flexibility
  • Consistent and self-confident appearance
  • Constructive collaboration across all levels of a global organization
  • Business fluent in English
  • Willingness to travel, nationally and internationally
