Job Description

The NEC certified Supervisor experienced in civils, structures, tunnels and viaducts, concrete and steel preferrable. The position is part of the HS2 NEC Supervision IPT Team and the element of working alone/managing your own workload is essential while supporting all functions given below.

The role includes:

  • Monitoring and reporting of compliance with accepted Design, Works Information and applicable standards, specifications, and procedures. Communicates with the Project Management team to raise programme and cost risk that result from any non-compliance. Suggests Early Warnings and inputs into Risk Reduction Meetings where required.

  • Request NCRs and ensures notification of Defects where needed, in accordance with the Contract. Management of NCR and Defects through the contractor’s digital assurance platform and HS2 commercial platform.
