Job Description

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) – Prince Albert, Department of Pediatrics, is seeking applications for a Neonatologist to join their team. The successful candidate will share in the provision of comprehensive in house coverage, 24/7 365 days, for the Level 2B Malhotra Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Victoria General Hospital (Prince Albert). The successful candidate will have an appointment in the Saskatchewan Health Authority.

Consisting of 11 beds, the new Level 2B NICU at the Victoria General Hospital is part of an exciting initiative to expand the provision of specialty services to northeastern Saskatchewan. As part of the Saskatchewan Neonatal Network, the Unit acts to align maternal and newborn risk factors and care needs through the addition of highly skilled professionals and state-of-the-art equipment in a newly developed standalone unit.
