Details:

  • Ten 24-hour shifts / month with full NNP coverage
  • 3-FTE Neonatologists and 5 NNPs
  • Physicians provide on-site coverage during patient rounds
  • Procedures: NRP; Intubation; Umbilical Lines; Ventilator Management; Total Body Cooling; Chest Tube Placement

    • Department Overview:

  • 24/7 NNP Support
  • Level III 22-bed NICU with an ADC of 8-10.
  • Provide services to patients as low as 23 weeks EGA
  • Total Body Cooling with continuous video EEG monitoring (read remotely) and HFOV
  • Provide transport services to 3 other birthing hospitals
  • Academic center with options to participate in internal medicine and family medicine residency programs, and the Medical College of Georgia.

    • Qualified Candidates:

  • BC/BE in Neonatology
  • Ideal candidates are congenial, hard-working, dependable, and wish to sustain and continue to grow in neonatology care
  • Ability to work as a team member.
  • Commitment to quality, patient safety, and overall excellence in evidence-based clinical care.
  • Spanish is a plus
