Net Modernization Application Lead

We're looking for a dynamic and hands-on technical leader to spearhead the modernization of our mission-critical web applications. • Drive migration from .NET Framework 4.8 to .NET 8/9, leveraging microservices architecture and cloud-native design.
• Design and implement microservices, RESTful APIs, and containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and optimize solutions on Azure (AKS, APIM, Azure SQL).
• Actively contribute to coding, testing, and deployment of high-performance applications.
• Architect and fine-tune SQL Server databases, queries, and stored procedures.
• Integrate AI tools into the development lifecycle for smarter, faster delivery.
• Mentor and manage a junior software developer, ensuring timely delivery and removing blockers.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align on goals and milestones.

Required prior experience and skills:

• Proven experience in .NET development and modernization projects. Experience of migration from .NET Framework 4.8 to .NET 8/9
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Expertise in containerization and CI/CD automation.
• Solid understanding of SQL Server optimization.
• Leadership experience with small to mid-sized development teams.
