Yumbah Clean Seas, now proudly part of the Yumbah Group, is a global leader in the full cycle breeding, production and sale of Yellowtail Kingfish (YTK, Seriola lalandi). We are known for our innovative Yellowtail Kingfish farming, with operations spanning multiple Farm Sites on the Spencer Gulf, a Hatchery in Arno Bay and a Processing Facility and support functions in Adelaide.

About the Role

Based in Port Lincoln, this position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of nets and marine operations inventory and associated duties at Yumbah Clean Seas Net Shed Depot.

Proven net mending and rope splicing skills are necessary together with a flexible attitude to handle a variety of hands‑on duties. The position requires a good level of physical fitness, a focus on safety, good communication skills and an ability to work effectively within a tight‑knit team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and repair of nets
  • Processing of inventory from Marine Operations
  • Production of rope requirements, including splicing
  • Support of the Logistics Crew
  • Ability to work unsupervised as required
  • Good level of physical fitness

Qualifications/ Skills

  • Sound knowledge of net construction and repairs
  • Sound rope, knot and splicing knowledge
  • Attention to detail
  • HR Forklift, Rigging & Dogging, Telehandler, CV Crane or above highly regarded
