Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sr. System Administrator with strong expertise in Linux, macOS, and Windows environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with server management, network administration, firewall security, and both hardware and software troubleshooting. This role will be critical in ensuring the security, stability, and performance of our IT infrastructure across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL), macOS, and Windows-based systems.Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot servers (physical and virtual) across platforms.

  • Oversee network infrastructure, including routing, switching, VPN, VLAN, and Wi-Fi access points.

  • Implement and manage firewall rules, IDS/IPS, and network security protocols.

  • Handle hardware and software troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, and servers.

  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and policies via Active Directory and LDAP.

  • Monitor system performance, logs, and uptime; perform capacity planning.

  • Collaborate with other IT teams to support enterprise applications and services.

  • Document system configurations, standard operating procedures, and changes.

  • Provide Tier 2/3 support and escalate issues as necessary.


    • Requirements

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).5-10 years of experience in a System Administrator or similar role.

  • Problem solving skills for Linux

  • Strong hands-on experience with Linux (server and desktop).

  • Solid understanding of macOS and Windows OS administration.

  • In-depth knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).

  • Experience with firewall configuration and management.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (preferred but not mandatory).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
