Function - Infrastructure

Requirements / Responsibilities:

  • Have 10+ years of experience in network engineering and architecture on enterprise networks
  • Have a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience routing, switching and load balancing. Preferably in a data centre networking environment
  • Knowledge of IP and Ethernet industry landscape including Ethernet switch, routing vendors and software-defined networks etc
  • Good understanding of the design, architecting, deploying with automation and operation of large scale Data Center Networks with EVPN-VXLAN, Spine and Leaf Architecture, Campus Network with Wireless LAN and SD-WAN.
  • Experience with Linux and good exposure to core network services (DNS, DHCP, SMTP, NTP, SNMP, Syslog, HTTP/HTTPS)
  • Good exposure of LAN technologies (LAN design standards), enterprise networking technologies like MPLS, IPsec, VPN, DMVPN, VPLS etc
  • Strong knowledge in IPV6, multicast, QoS, IP fast routing, network security and enterprise security such as DDOS, Firewall, IPS, Malware detection etc
  • Experience with Python or Shell scripting 
  • Good exposure in routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS)
  • Experience in architecture assessment of large scale data centre networks and campus networks
  • Knowledge of SDN, NFV, SD-WAN, cloud infrastructure technologies such as virtualization, virtual switches, virtual routers
  • Strong communication and organization skills
