Location: Onsite – Cisco Building, Bangalore (BGL)





Role Overview

We are seeking a Network Automation Engineer with a strong focus on Python-based automation, solid Cisco networking fundamentals, and hands-on wireless (WiFi) expertise. This role is onsite at a Cisco facility and will support automation, testing, and validation of next-generation network and wireless solutions.



Primary Focus Areas

  • Python automation for networking and testing workflows

  • Cisco networking (routing, switching, enterprise networks)

  • Wireless / WiFi technologies



    • Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Python automation scripts for network and wireless environments

  • Configure, troubleshoot, and validate Cisco network infrastructure

  • Support WiFi / wireless testing and validation

  • Work with network and test tools to assess performance and reliability

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering and test teams

  • Use AI-enabled tools to improve automation efficiency and diagnostics

  • Communicate clearly and work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment



    • Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with Python automation (primary skill)

  • Solid networking fundamentals, specifically Cisco technologies

  • Practical experience with wireless / WiFi networking

  • Familiarity with network testing tools

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work onsite in a fast-paced environment



    • Nice to Have

  • Experience in lab, validation, or system testing environments

  • Exposure to enterprise or OEM networking teams

  • Cisco certifications (CCNA/CCNP) are a plus

  • Experience using AI tools for automation or analysis
